The electrical connections provided by the JKPDD are of two voltage levels- High tension and Low tension connections. In high tension connections, consumers are given an electrical supply with voltage levels at 11KV, 33KV, or 66KV. In the case of low tension connections, consumers are given an electrical supply with voltage levels at 220 Volts single phase or 440 Volts three phase.

• The homepage of your account will display the tab for linking the multiple connections. Click on the ‘Link them up’ link.

• Now, you will see the linking window. Fill in the consumer code and installation number of the new connection you want to link with your account.

• You can also see the details of all your previously linked connections on the right side of the screen.

J&K New Electricity Connection – Apply Online

There are two types of connections, low and high tension. Depending on your requirement, you can apply.

For high tension connection, the following consumers can apply:

• High tension industries
• Power intensive industries
• High tension PHE
• Bulk supply-giving organizations

For low tension connection, the following consumers can apply:

• Domestic property holders
• Non-domestic or commercial organizations
• Agricultural supply holders
• Low tension PHE
• Low tension industries

• On the homepage, you will see the tab to apply for a new electricity connection in J&K. Click on the ‘Apply for new connection’ tab.

• You have to create an account to apply for a new electricity connection. Click on the ‘Sign up’ tab to create your account.

• You are directed not to the sign-up tab. Enter your email id, set the password, and click the ‘Sign up’ button.

• To activate your account, click on the activation link sent to your email id.
• Once your account is activated, you can login into your account. Enter your login credentials and click on the ‘Log in’ button.

• Now the applicants can apply for new connections of high tension or low tension.
• Fill up the application form and attach the required documents. Now submit the application form for a new electricity connection.
• You will receive your application ID on the registered email id.

• Bring the mouse above the ‘How to Apply?’ tab in the navigation bar to see more options.
