Self-verification applications for Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) can be submitted online in Tamil Nadu through the Tamil Nadu Police website. You can utilize the online portal set up by the Tamil Nadu Police Department to input information relevant to self-verification. There is no need to go to the police station to offer information at first. On the Tamil Nadu Police website, you may input your personal information and data. The steps for submitting an application for self-verification with the Tamil Nadu Police Department are outlined below.

Steps for Tamil Nadu police verification:

1.  The first stage is to go to the official website of Tamil Nadu’s Police Verification Services.
2. From the drop-down menu, choose “Citizen Services (Paid)“.

3. Then select “Police Verification” from the same menu.
4. Select ‘New Request‘ from the drop-down box.

5. A new page will open with police verification services.
6. Choose one service from service type drop down options (including self verification, job verification, tenant verification, domestic help verification) at eservices tnpolice platform.

7. After selcting Self verification, enter the mobile number accessible to you.
8. Enter the security code shown on the screen.
9. Tap on send OTP.
10. Enter the OTP sent on your mobile number and click on submit.
11. After submitting all of the information, the following page will open.

12. Fill in the required information;

Name: Fill in your name.

S/o, D/o, W/o: Fill in the blanks with your father’s or husband’s name.

Date of Birth: Please enter your date of birth here.

E-mail ID: Enter your e-mail address here.

Address: Please enter your mailing address.

District: Choose a district from the drop-down menu.

PIN: Enter your Pin Code here.

13. Upload a photo of any government-issued ID with a maximum file size of 50KB.
14. Tick on the box next to the declaration to make a declaration.
15.  Select “Save” from the drop-down menu.
16. Follow the instructions and complete the application submission procedure.
17. Your Self-Verification information will now be sent to the Tamil Nadu Police for the purpose of issuing a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).
18.  You will be notified by email when your application has been received.

Check police verification certificate status online:

1.  The first stage is to go to the official website of Tamil Nadu’s Police Verification Services.
2. From the drop-down menu, choose “Citizen Services (Paid)“.
3. Click on “View Status”.
4. The following screen shall open.

5. Enter mobile number and and code displayed on the screen.
6. Click on Send OTP.
7. After entering the OTP, the user can track the status of TN police verification certificate without any hasle.

To verify and download the TN police verification report; 

1. The first stage is to go to the official website of Tamil Nadu’s Police Verification Services.
2. From the drop-down menu, choose “Citizen Services (Paid)“.
3. Tap on “Verify”.
4. Enter PVR number/ PVR reference number and Mobile number of the applicant.
5. Enter security code and submit.
6. The user will be able to download and verify the verification report.
