KSEB Solar Rooftop Subsidy Scheme 2022

Kerala State Electricity Board has launched a new solar subsidy scheme for the people of Kerala. Under this program, the state people can get up to 40% subsidy on rooftop solar panels or get at least twice the investment return. The reason behind the scheme is to promote natural sources for daily needs.

We already know electricity rates are getting higher day by day, so the state government wants people to install solar panels on the rooftops and connect to the house’s primary circuit. The solar panels on the rooftops will generate solar power that will derive electricity for the houses.

The MNRE has aimed to set up a 38 GW of rooftop solar panels program in the state. There will be no electricity bill as the government will provide subsidies for their domestic customers.
